FVE runway condition update as of 1900Z. Runway is bare and still wet from melted snow in places.

FVE received another 3″ of snow overnight. The airport is open but until the temperature rises we have plowed only the center 25′.

FVE reopened at 1700Z today, after receiving 4″ of snow overnight.

Mostly sunny OAT still below 32*F at 1715Z, winds 120@4,visibility 10, sky BRK 5,000.

FVE airfield condition update at 1230Z. All movement surfaces are bare. Ahead of today’s forecasted snow we are in great shape. If we receive plowable snow expect temporary airport closure late this afternoon.

At 1235Z OAT was 21*F, winds were light out of 080, vis 10, sky OVC 11,000.

FVE was looking great at 1800Z.

FVE is open with dry pavement on all aircraft movement areas as of 2230Z today.

FVE is temporarily closed due to blowing snow yesterday that turned to ice as it passed over a warm runway and flash froze later in the afternoon. We expect with rising OAT this morning that by early afternoon we will be able to reopen. There is an active closure NOTAM until 1700Z today.

At 1300Z the OAT was 21*F, winds were 340@16G21, visibility 10, and sky CLR.
